Joshua Adejokun Young Mayor of Newham
Joshua Adejokun is the second directly elected Young Mayor of Newham and is directly accountable to young people. Joshua is 14 years old and studies at The Royal Docks Community School in Newham having previously attended Rosetta Primary School.
In addition to his Young Mayor duties, Joshua spends his free time socialising with friends and following a keen interest in sport. He enjoys football, basketball and athletics and regularly represents his school. Joshua is also taking part in a local Young Enterprise initiative where he is gaining valuable experience in marketing.

Joshua is focusing on three priorities drawn from his manifesto and Newham's Young People's Survey. These three areas are; reducing teenage crime, increasing recycling and using more renewable sources of energy.
